Go-Va provides clients based mostly in Australia with offshore employees. We are managed operations, not a BPO. You will work in the Go-Va office in Cebu and have direct contact with your clients’ company on a daily basis who will train you in their policies and procedures. Go-Va management on site is there to support you and we provide you with many benefits.

For this role, you will be working with a UK client.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Commercial finance at WorldRemit is split into three main areas: true commercial finance (responsible for reporting and analytics, business partnering, and driving value to the P&L), pricing (responsible for ensuring that we know and understand our competitive position and deliver against our strategy to support growth), and Funding (responsible for ensuring that our payout partners are adequately funded to meet our pay out commitments to recipients).

The role will report locally to a Commercial Finance Manager with oversight of commercial finance work by our London-based Senior Commercial Finance Manager.

Job Description:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Cebu City.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.

Job Qualification:

• Qualified accountant with excellent academics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for daily interaction with both local and UK based teams.
• Ability to solve problems and think creatively – capacity to provide pragmatic solutions and have the drive and leadership to implement ideas through to successful conclusion.
• Excellent analytical skills applied to a broad range business and industry issues.
• Knowledge of tableau and experience querying databases with SQL
• Experience of a high growth, dynamic, responsive environment
• Strong excel modelling skills, ability to analyse large volumes of data and provide concise insights of key messages
• A flexible individual who enjoys working in a changing, fast-paced environment, with an enjoyment of problem solving.
