Graphic Designer Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION

Opportunity to work Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.

Go-Va provides clients based in Australia with offshore employees. We are a managed operations, not a BPO.
You will work in the Go-Va office in Cebu and have direct contact with your Australian company on a daily basis who will train you in their policies and procedures. Go-Va management on site is there to support you and we provide you with many benefits.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will develop creative, innovative and imaginative design concepts for a range of commercial products and services. You will work on brochures, pitches, and tenders, campaigns (some done in and out of the house), products, brand advertisements, signage, in-store POS, communication, brand and communication guidelines, website refreshes, product design/packaging plus much more. This role is super diverse, fun and requires a hard-working professional with a range of skills and knowledge. The role is suited to someone with a strong design edge, high work ethic, and the ability to work independently without direction, as well as part of a small team and often to tight deadlines.

You will be responsible for:

• Safe-guarding brand equity by ensuring the consistent application of branding across all
  collateral
• Keeping the customer experience at the forefront of every piece of creative execution
• Executing designs on time and in line with creative briefs
• Creative problem solving
• Multi-tasking – working on more than one project at a time
• Following process
• Press-readying creative for manufacture
• Some contact with suppliers
• Representing our brand in a professional, helpful and respectful way in all communications
• Some filming of narrations and/or narrator interviews and the photography of narrators and/or authors in the studio along with treating the material for use on social media
• Assisting the team with overflow work as required

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role you must have:

A Bachelor of Design (Communication Design/Visual Communication), Diploma of Graphic Design

High proficiency in the use of the following programs:

• InDesign
• Photoshop
• Premiere Pro
• Illustrator
• A passion for great composition in design and product
• Experience working in-house
• A portfolio that exhibits strong ability in one of more of the following areas: corporate design and branding, long-form narrative, interactive/web design and packaging design
• Be highly organized with a strong attention to detail (you will need to be able to file assets fastidiously)
• Proven follow-through and ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously
• The ability to solve challenges with creative ability
• The ability to take on constructive feedback and adapt designs accordingly
• Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Have excellent computer skills and be a proficient Mac user
• Excellence accuracy in copywriting and proofing
• A sense of pride in your work
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and be involved in any adhoc needs of supporting the departments goals.
