Go-Va provides clients based in Australia with offshore employees. We are managed operations, not a BPO. You will work in the Go-Va office in Cebu and have direct contact with your Australian company on a daily basis who will train you in their policies and procedures. The client is a licensed Electrical Contracting Business that has operated successfully for over 14 years. We are committed to best practice and continuous improvement. We are seeking applications from a suitably qualified Electrical Estimator to join our team. The client uses Simpro estimating and management system, so experience with this system highly advantageous.

To be considered for the position of Electrical Estimator you will have:

• Estimating knowledge with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Electrical Estimator tendering/quoting a wide range of Electrical works
• Previous experience using Simpro preferred
• ConEst IntelliBid experience considered, but not essential
• Electrical License or Electrical Engineering Diploma/Degree highly advantageous, but not essential
• Work well in a team with the ability to work autonomously
• Good time management and planning skills with a high level of attention to detail

Overview of duties:

• Tender submissions for commercial construction contracts and electrical maintenance using Simpro
• Liaising with clients and onsite construction team
• Estimates for existing and ongoing construction projects and specialty projects
• Working to maintain strict margins
• Collaboration and communication with the Managing Director
• Following through on all tender feedback
• Maintain relationships with current clients

As an Electrical Service provider, our expertise is broad. To be effective in our team you must possess a high and enthusiastic work ethic as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
As this will be a varied and interesting role, which will include all aspects of the business, strong organizational skills are essential.

The role will be 5 days per week- Monday- Friday (6 AM-3PM from October – March; 7AM-4PM April- September)
