Quality Assurance Engineer Full Time
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, and as an integral part of the Software Development Team, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing processes that identify the usability and effectiveness of the company’s software solutions. Critical thinking, creativity and a relentless approach are required in finding non-conformities within our software applications.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions)
Review and create test plan/strategy for product features
Develop test cases and prioritizes testing activities
Execute test cases and provide testing automation where necessary
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
Collaboratively engage team members on testing needs and results
Work in an Agile team environment collaborating with other team members
Interface with Product Owner, users and UX designers to create best of breed usability
Continually look for ways to improve the code, the system, and the processes
Grow personally and have fun
Report to work on a Philippines night-shift schedule, to have full US overlap

Expert understanding of the Software Test Lifecycle
Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Defect Management
Ability to tactfully stand firm on acceptance criteria
Ability to quickly learn and understand complex processes
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent soft skills for working with people inside and outside the team
At least one (1) year creating and executing test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts and procedures
At least one (1) year experience performing manual testing
Experience with MS SQL preferred
Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
