Go-Va provides clients based in Australia, NZ, USA & UK with offshore employees. We are managed operations, not a BPO. You will work in the Go-Va office in Cebu and have direct contact with your client on a daily basis who will train you in their policies and procedures. Go-Va management on site is there to support you and we provide you with many benefits.
This position will be working for an International client and will be part of their management for their Philippines center.
A well-rounded HR Manager, you will have broad experience across all the relevant disciplines, gained in a fast-paced, preferably customer services environment, ideally, UK or US headquartered. You will be able to demonstrate a track-record of both scaling an organization and conceiving and executing on high impact plans which flow through to strong retention, improved morale and underpin the company’s ability to grow. Familiar with the challenges of growing technology and/or financial services companies, you will understand how to translate strategy into reality in the Philippines with a commercial focus. With naturally strong EQ and tenacity, you will instill confidence in stakeholders at all levels. A low-ego and consultative personality, your influencing skills will gain their confidence.
Required Ethics & Attributes:
Human Resources foundations:
5+ years work experience with a broad knowledge of full cycle HR disciplines including recruitment, onboarding, benefits and reward, engagement, development, ER and performance management. Natural focus on continuous process improvement.
Experience of Scaling:
You will have experienced high growth, evolving to meet the increasing needs of the business. Happy to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail.
Business Partnering:
Proven track record of strong partnering and collaboration with employees and leaders, onsite and remote.
Strong Communication skills: Well developed advisory skills and the ability to gain credibility and exercise influence. Able to deliver clear, direct, messages and build strong relationships.
Self-starter:
High level of energy and drive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
Team player:
Visible contributor, collaborating and sharing knowledge locally and across the People team.
Solution-focused thinker:
Empathy, can-do attitude, and mature decision-making skills.
